Conditions of Let

PAYMENT -  To secure your booking a £50 non-refundable deposit is required within 5 business days of booking with final balance due payable 6 weeks prior to date of your holiday.    Where a booking is made within 6 weeks of arrival then the full amount becomes due within 5 business days of your booking.   N.B.  In the event of non-payment of full or final balance by agreed date(s) then we, the owners, reserve the right to cancel the booking.

Period of Let
Tenancy begins at 4pm on day of arrival and ends at 10am on day of departure.  However, if you prefer to arrive later tham 4pm please contact the owner on the mobile number provided.

Occupancy
The number of persons occupying the house must not exceed 4 persons. Only those included in the original booking may occupy the accommodation.

Responsibility
The person responsible for making the booking shall be deemed liable for the behaviour of all party members and for ensuring that ‘Conditions of Let’ are adhered to, for loss or damage to the accommodation and contents, howsoever caused during the period of let.

Access to property
The owners reserve the right to refuse to hand over the accommodation to anyone who, in the opinion of the owners, is not suitable to take charge of the property and also reserve the right to terminate the contract at any time or remove any person(s) due to unreasonable behaviour, damage to property or likely to cause annoyance or offence to others.  The owners reserve the right to enter the accommodation at any time as occasion may demand.

Care and consideration
We ask that you respect the accommodation, furnishings and equipment therein, keep it in a good and clean condition and that you leave the house in the same good state as found on your arrival.

Heating
Electric radiant fire in lounge also night-time storage heaters in lounge, kitchen and hall.   Oil-filled radiators in both bedrooms.

Linen/bedding
Sheets, pillowcases, duvet/covers and towels are provided.   Travel cot linen is not provided.

Hot water
There is constant hot water – please do not switch the timer off.

Pets
We do not accept pets.

No smoking
In the interests of health and safety, smoking is not permitted while in the property.

Leisure Club facilities
We the owners, provide our guests with complimentary membership (up to 4 persons) of Dalfaber Golf & Gountry Club leisure facilities for the duration of their stay. This membership provision must not be used by any person who is not included in the booking party.

Refuse/Recycling
The refuse collection is on Monday mornings (10.30 approx). Please put the bin out at the top of the drive for collection.   A box is provided for recycling newspapers, magazines, bottles and cans.

Vacating
Time of departure is 10am - please ensure the house is left in the same good condition as found on your arrival.   Any damage/breakages that may occur during your stay must be paid for or replaced by you and you must notify the owners immediately.  

Cancellation
Cancellations may be advised by telephone but MUST be confirmed in writing.   The following cancellation charges will apply:        6 weeks or more prior to date of holiday - loss of deposit.   Within 6 weeks of date of holiday  - 100%.
